Karen Black – Licking the rain
For the first time in thirty years I am living alone. My flat in Kings Cross opens up to the internal void between four levels of apartments so I can hear everything like it is in my own living room. I have invented a cast of characters that play out in an imaginary movie, and while I haven’t met these people I imagine what they look like as well as what is going on. I’ve taken notes of conversations and things called out in the night. The movie is called Licking the rain.
